xFAB
A course where students will be introduced to the fundamentals of making through electronics and fabrication in order to produce a wide range of creative work. The focus is on materials and tools as used across cultures, geographies and timelines. Where students critically analyze the making histories within which many groups are marginalized, missing representations of grassroots makers in current narratives and infusion of for-profit ethos in open movements. The course introduces current tools and techniques charted through multiple historical and social perspectives.

01 Moodboard
Task: Continusly add to a base
At this point most of my projects are with clothing I didn’t want this to be any different I really wanted to add hoodies together and make a strange garment
“FABRICATION”
During the Israel Palestine conflict that started October 7th 2023 many of my friends were protesting I was so occupied by my work I wanted to protest as well but through my work what I wrote on the back of the Garment was “Free Palestine” on the front I wrote “Fabrication” referring to xFab and my name on the ribs “Omaid” which means hope. I really enjoying making this garment. It was a labor of love.
