Purpose?

The purpose of this mini project was to create something on my own, as well as start thinking in a conceptual way. This was a lot of fun! I plan to do more personal projects.

Concept?

The concept behind this idea was to create a striking contrast between war, which is often associated with violence, anger, and death, and fruit, which represents joy, sweetness, harmlessness, and vitality. The underlying notion is that fruit is pure, life-giving, and symbolizes prosperity and happiness. Similarly, human life also has tremendous positive potential, yet for many young men, war robs them of that potential, whether by taking their lives, ending others' lives, or causing traumatic experiences that forever change them. Some of these men return from war unrecognizable, with physical, mental, and emotional scars that are difficult to comprehend. War is a strange and unfortunate experience
